Five Spice-Roasted Pecan - 香脆五香山核桃

Easy to make, delicious to eat, nutritious to keep - Five Spice-Roasted Pecan is one of my favorite snacks. It is crunchy, delicious, and the most important, it is a healthy food. A one ounce serving of pecans includes over 19 vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin E, calcium, potassium and zinc. It is ranked in the top 20 out of 100 foods for antioxidant capacity. At 196 calories and 2.7 grams of dietary fiber, pecan is a great natural food to include in our diets.

You can use this same technique with walnuts, almonds, and other types of nuts. Smaller nuts will roast faster than bigger nuts, so keep an eye on how quickly they're browning to avoid burning the nuts.
